Been watching this TV show for two seasons.
Watching this made me realise that people do look down on others not their kind.
Especially geeks.
Seriously sometimes I do so too..I mean, who don't?
Take a look on a guy, anywhere, first impression matters most though. (I'm sure geeks have different opinions too!)
What would you feel, seeing a guy in the worst clothing: Mismatched tops, baggy pants, lame shoes, yikes, big deal. Move on to his look, freckled face with the-most-out-of-the-world specs, weird hairdo that seems like just wake up from bed, even worse.
But if one really digs into the minds of these so-call geeks/nerds, you'll find endless stream of knowledge and skills.
Most girls opt for the best in guys, the brains and looks, especially beauties.
From this show, one will see something they may never have thought before.
How wonderfully match when beauties and geeks come together.
It creates a situation where, beauties provide their social skills, brainy geeks provide their knowledge.
True and undeniable.
The producers too, made a clear point where this show is a reality, social experiment to see how well beauties and geeks work together.
In the end, those eliminated often felt that they learned a lot from each other and will, perhaps accept others they don't accpet usually, in the future.
I personally think that this show is worth to watch, as one can learn a lot while gaining entertainment. So check out:

Of all the Ups and Downs in Life, I find peace in here.

I just come to realise that, I write long blogs.
And I mean, real long blogs, not just the longest among us 3 admins, but after compared to others too..
So, for those who can't stand reading long blogs, don't bother to read mine, check out ~Little Happy~'s and ~jocelyn~'s.

As what I'm always saying, a lot has been happening these days..yet I can't make out what actually happened.
Perhaps its my lack of patience to describe everything that happened in my life? Or I'm too frustrated by the challenges in life?
Yeah..sure everyone is facing the same trouble, and I know I'm not alone in this, but wouldn't it be better if I can just share it with someone else?
烦恼一经说出来以后, 就减轻了许多, 却找不到一个可以倾诉的对象:
关系太疏远, 明知道他不会了解你, 宁愿不谈;
关系太密切, 不但不能谈烦恼, 还需把烦恼隐藏起来。
That's why, in the end, what I did most of the time, I'll be turning back to my collection of diary in my PC, or, this blog.

Enough with my nonsense naggings and blabberings.
Actually I would like to use this oppurtunity to thank our Bio teacher, Mr. V.Khor here. (God this sounds formal! Yikes!)
Representing 2 other admins of this blog, I'm showing my highest gratitude to you. Thanks for the good teaching and your interesting power point slides.
And, what's most important is, I am really listening to what the teacher's teaching, despite what I usually did in Ms.Loo's class - chatting with Joce.
I may not be the most active in class..neither being the smart ones le.g Amy in class, but at least I do show some improvement in my Bio paper..and I certainly won't forget what you drew on my tet paper! (Lolz!)
One more thing..I am totally not trying to bodek the teacher or whatsoever. And I think all that I mentioned above are true and comes straight from my heart.
And lastly, we hope that Mr. Khor will enjoy his study and have a bright future!

Merdeka = M'sia Boleh ??

Throughout the years, its as if no one cared about the country's Independence until it arrived years after years.
And when Independence Day a.k.a Merdeka is just around the corner, what do M'sians do?

Top 5 things M'sians do before and during Independence day:
~ Students in primary school colour and wave their D.I.Y little flags (Lolz..what's the use of doing this? Wasting paper?) - Local
~ Residents hang up hell loads of Jalur Gemilang in their housing area (Replaced every year for what?) - Local
~ M'sians convinced themselves that they love the country by saying Malaysia Boleh (Do you speak from you true heart?) - National
~ Tv commercials regarding how our ex-leaders put in effort to gain the country's independece (Do we really appreciate that huh?) - National
~ Newspapers insist on publishing decades-back news and even this year, newpapers from 1957 - Local&National

And seeing of all the hard work, we, sometimes ask ourselves, are we really proud with the country's achievements?

M'sians are proud of - Our filming & entertainment industry:
~ Local movies (Pontianal 1&2are the ones that made it quite internationally, coz that's what most of us heard of..duh!)
~ Local TV series (Yea we have a lot of these..but which 1 of them made it into other countries huh?)
~ Local film celebrities (Datuk Michelle Yeoh, well you really made us proud but..do you gain success in your own counrty?)
~ Local chinese singers eg. Penny, Fish (Hey..they are not even in our country now)

M'sians are proud of - Our tourism industry:
~ Petronas Twin Tower (Once upon a time, it was the tallest builing in the world)
~ Eye On M'sia (Newly built for TMM 2007, yet still way far behind other countries)
~ Sabah&Sarawak (Well-preserved but soon to be polluted, so appreciated it when it's still there!!)

M'sians are proud of - Our Tradition
~ The way we speak (Constantly added with the word 'lah' or 'ma' or 'lo')
~ The way we dress (Traditional clothes are thrown away, replaced by Western-style clothing line..such as Roxy)
~ They way we live peacefully with other races (Yeah right..than whats the Negarakuku thing for?)

M'sians are proud of - How othe M'sians succeed in their career:
~ Jimmy Choo (Nevertheless, he's from Penang, and famous for world wide...)
~ All mentioned above..none of them are in M'sia now)
~ For more successful stories of those do not strive in our own country, catch 'Wing of Pride' in 8tv, Sunday 6.30pm

Well, i must say that I may be critisizing a lot in this blog, but at least I'm speaking form my true heart. Hope I'm not offending anyone though.
Last but not least, one thing all M'sians share, one thing that made us proud of the country, one thing that changes the perception of other countries towards us..

Top 5 food in M'sia that EVERYONE is proud of:
~ Laksa (Originated form Penang, famous for its rich thick soup seasoned with spices)
~ Char Kuih Teow (From Penang again, people love it for its fresh juicy prawns with the hot yet spicy taste of the noodles)
~ Nasi Lemak (All of us love it isnt it? Its suitable for any meals in a day)
~ Sate (One can just eat nonstop. Taste so great with creamy peanut sauce with ketupat. Yumyum!)
~ Nasi Kandar (Available anywhere in M'sia..smells nice, taste superb!!)

PSDC Visit

Yaya again I'm late for the updates, but i'm still earlier than the others!
This is our visit to PSDC Penang on 25 Aug 2007.
Basically we, 39 students went there for a teambuilding training.
2 facilitators from PSDC guided us through the training, and learn something like cooperation, leadership skills etc.
Check out the group's name - Buddy, drawn by Debbie.
Anyway on our way back Amy sprained her ankle, a real bad one.
I hope she's better now..and I think she learned her lesson not to rush everything!!

Sorry for the late update coz I've been busy doing my add maths project.
Well, our grand Red Cresent Unit 5 camp+camp night was held last friday, 24 Aug 2007.
This is the first year that the camp is held for a whole day with a campfire night.

Activities in the 'day' camp included:
~ 8.00-9.00am Workshop session
~9.00-12.00pm Cooking Comp
~1.00-2.45pm Performance
~3.00-5.00pm - Station games
~6.00-9.00pm - Campfire night

Awards given out:
~Best Cooking comp: Group D
~Best Peformance: Group H (My group haha!!)
~Best Station game: Group D
~Best Overall: Group D (All awards dominated by them)
~Best Leader: Yeoh Shu Hua from Group D
~Best Member: Choo Zi Lin

Actually quite hard to describe anything that happened through out the camp..and I forgot most of it..
The camp was a BLAST!!
Everybody had fun, especially in the campfire, though those from other societies were obviously more active than those in RC during the campfire.
But in the end everything turned out great, and the camp night was a huge success!!
Cheers to all committees, our hard works for months had totally payed off!!
Hope that next year, my last year, I'll be enjoying another great camp that is yet to come which will be as fun as this!!

Went to Joce's house in Paya Terubong today, and met this little 'devil'..lolz

Introducing Joce's bro, 王征进 (am i right?), 13 years old, CLHS student, anyone wish to know him please contact Joce, not me. Haha.

Anyway, on my way go and back from her house, I saw this newly built (not exactly new but I just got the chance to see it) MBS school front gate.

Well...it makes me think of.....KINDERGARDEN!!

I mean..the school built a brand new hall last year, the colourful one, had made a huge fuss among its students..

Well..that was when I heard the students said the school looks like kindergarden..

But today..seeing this kiddy school gate, worth more than RM10 000(huge amount of $), makes me wonder...is it worth to build Penang's most expensive school gate that looks so childish??

Anyone Can Cook -- Chef Gusteau

From Ratatouille, I discovered that:
~ Ratatouille - (Pronounced as rat-ta-too-ee) The name of this vege-cuisine, not the rat

~ Remy - The rat's name, not Ratatouille

~ Colette - I totally fell for this girl! She has the nicest haircut, pretty face, and she COOKS! Kinda like my mum though..lolz

~ Setting - Two days in a row I watched movies with settings in Paris. OMG I am so all over Paris now!!!

~ Food - Ever wonder what's its like behind the kitchen? We'll never knew how or WHO are preparing the food, even if its the most wonderful meal in the world. Perhaps in the end you found that you're eating meal prepared by rats, what would you do?

~ Accent - I changed my mind, I hate the french accent. It's so hard to understand what the characters are talking 'bout!! Especially Colette. Anyway, this is an American-based movie, why are the Americans playing with their french accent?? This part sucks.

~ Technology -The producers did a great job editing the parts and they made the places in Paris, the food, the charcters' motion and even small things like the rats very in detail. It feels as if I'm enjoying the view in Paris, tasting the tastiest food with the finest wine..mmm(god I'm dreaming now!). For that, I admire you guys!! Cheers to them!

Just watched the movie Rush Hour 3 in GSC today.

Well, 1 word to describe the movie - FUNNY!!

I don't feel like spoiling the fun of others..so..just watch the movie..it's worth it..and I can guarantee that.

I just noticed..Paris IS nice.

Here's few thing that one can find in Paris that rocks:

~The men - Nice lazy eyes they have, sexy shall I say, someone like George(the funny driver) ..haha
~The women - They have extremely hot body figures as well as their height
~The accent - I really like how they pronounce some words like 'ze'(the)
~The scenery - Man..especially night in Eiffel Tower, where they fight, exotic view!


Secretly Joce and I made promised to each other that we're going to travel to Paris one day..joce please remember our promise!!

Anyway..I've learned that the name of this nice bald lady's name 'Genverieve' a.k.a french name is pronounced as 'Janvir' in French..sounds silly..lolz.

Watching this movie really brings non-stop laughing, though they did include some 18-sx scenes, some agressive scenes and gross ones too..but this 1 and 1/2 hour movie release stress really well!

Changes bring Sadness

There's been a lot of changes happening these days..
Sometimes..changes bring sadness too..
Zhian is leaving 4S1..in order to be in her dream stream 4P3.
Though she's leaving for the sake of her own (after holidays) , which means she's still in our school, but it did saddens our classmates..few of them cried too..
Sometimes it makes me wonder..why did my school just wont allow us to be in the right stream we're suppose to be..which we chose at the end of last year after PMR?
Few of us put in a lot of effort to persuade our teachers to let us be in arts stream, but did that work?
And look how much time she wasted before getting her transfer..8 months, 2 tests and 1 exam!
If the school approve her application earlier..would she still suffer for this 8 long, hard months?
Perhaps students like us..will just have to do as what the Form Teacher said:

No matter how hard it is, you will still have to go through this 2 years, proved
to yourself that you can be good in science, and you'll be free afterwards!

For Zhian, I'm wishing you all the best of luck in your new class and classmates, may you achieve what you've been longed for.
Losing you meant a lot as you've always been the one to cheer up the class, we'll miss you and I appreciate our friendship a lot.
As for others, try your best in everything, bear in mind that, 1 year 4 months later, we'll gain our freedom to focus on our fave subjects in Form 6!

Note: 4S1 students are holding a farewell for Zhain in Queensbay Mall on 25 Aug (Sat), with activites such as watching movie, hanging out and skating. Those classmates who are interested please support this outing!!

Just came back from Convent Lite Street..damn tired now..

This forum is held by Penang Family Planning Association(FPA) for peer educators to share their thoughts on HIV and STI.
The participators of this forum includes peer educators: 4 from CDK, 5 from CLS, 1 adult peer, and the Chairman of the forum. (This is just our group..i'm not sure about the other group)
It was so tense in that room! The instructors gave us a series of questions and we're asked to speak.
I mean..PUBLIC SPEAKING..with a recorder to record everything we said..
So all of us was like so freaked out..and when I'm holding the microphone I'm actually shaking so hard..Gita must've saw that..embarrasing..but overall I think all of us did quite well..
Despite speaking in front of strangers and those english-speaking background girls..yikes!!
Those from CLS speaks very well though..can't even sense they're nervous..cheers to them!

All left DESERTED..no drivers..no passengers..not even number plates!
It was a such pitiful sight...*sigh*...
Perhaps the competition from Rapid Penang buses is too strong, as they provide better services, accomodations and fair price too!
Well..what can i say?
If the Transit Link Company see this happening long ago..maybe they'll change their attitude and provide better services and cleaner buses..I'm sure the Rapid Penang won't stand a chance isn't it?

Wow..

I can't believe its so tiring to create a blog!!
Now my right hand is about to fall off!! OMG!
Well..
Half of the reason I feeling this may be caused by our activities today..
So I guess I can't blame too much on this blog..lolz..

Today..
Woke up at the earliest time -- 9am!!
It may not seem early but its over the exams!!
Lost my sleep for few days yet cannot reenergized back..for god's sake
Yaya..this is my routines for today:
9.00am - Wakup
10.25am - Got to Prangin Mall
10.55am - Missed shuttle bus and take Mialn Bus instead to Queensbay Mall
12.00pm - Got into the skating arena
2.20pm - Shop around Qbay Mall
9.49om - Got home, watch TV
11.25pm - Online till now..


Skating rocks!!
I really have to promote this "sport" coz its so much fun!!
Erm..yea..its undeniable that out of 6 of us.. 3 of us are first-timers..
That included me of course..
And the best part of skating is..one can skate but its hard to stop!
Most of the time people in the arena just bumped against each other and fell off..
It may seemed funny but it hurts!

And yea..we did fell off..couple of times..and it hurts so much that I'm still feeling it until now!!

Yikes!

In the end ..everyone got really sweaty and tired..

Which means..like what ~Aurora~ said..."Skating is a gooooood sport!"

Hahaha..Joce must be so damn jealous of us right now..bluek!!

Not to mention..

Something that we're not expecting today..(maybe)

S.H.E was in QB too!!

Well..maybe us 'Hobbits' didn't stand a chance to see them..

But at least I heard the 3 girls sweet voice(In speaking)!

Anyway..

Its my first time hang out in the mall for such long hours..

A total of 9 hours..wow..mum sure will be mad if she knew this..swt

Note: For those of you going to Queensbay Mall.. Dont be worry if you missed the shuttle bus..
